2 benefit exhibitions

Pleased to participate in two upcoming exhibitions that help benefit art and education.


Among Friends

Organized by Alexandra Putsch Brock, Beth Dary and Patricia Fabricant. The show will consist of over 200 pieces, each worked on by a different artist, zipped together in one continuous, exuberant piece.

Individual works will be for sale for $250 each and with 10% going to the Lower East Side Girl’s Club.

Over 100 artists donate original drawings & works on paper in support of Kentler Flat Files for their annual Works on Paper Benefit, May 18 at 6pm.

spring wildflower tours

Date : April 12, 2019

2019 marks my fourth year of giving Spring Wildflower (ephemeral) walks at Bartholomew’s Cobble, a National Natural Landmark and a Trustees property.

The Wildflower Festival runs from April 20 until May 12th with tours every Saturday and Sunday at 2pm.

Please join me for my walks on Sunday April 21, Sunday May 5 or Saturday May 11 at 2pm.

sister inmate auction

Date : October 23, 2018

Thrilled to be supporting the work of Sister Inmate by donating a mono print to their auction which started today October 23rd.  Artist Caitlin Parker organized the auction with artists donating works on paper and workshops.

Sister Inmates’s all volunteer staff is dedicated to supporting incarcerated individuals and their families.  The auction proceeds will help provide books for their Spiritual Based Book club; to buy Holiday Gift Bags distributed to all women incarcerated in L.A. (things like toothpaste and tea); and to print materials for their emotional support and life skills workshop.

Summer Artist-In-Residence

Headed up to the Adirondacks for Norte Maar’s Summer Artist-In Residence at The Jay House in early July.

Artist in the Garden

Date : August 13, 2018

Naumkeag’s Blue Steps designed by landscape architect Fletcher Steele.

 

During my Naumkeag residency, I will explore the gardens, observing flora and fauna – the freshly blooming sunflowers, the mint filled with feasting honeybees, the spider weaving its web among the apple twigs. These findings and sitings will become marks on paper and cloth, using plant matter from Naumkeag as a dye base.

spring ephemeral walks at Bartholomew’s Cobble
