spring ephemeral walks at Bartholomew’s Cobble
“There were several pleasure parties of which I was a member, and in our rambles we found many and many beautiful children of Spring, which I will mention and see if you have found them–trailing arbutus, adder’s tongue, yellow violets, liver leaf, bloodroot and many other small flowers.” [Emily Dickinson 1848 letter to a friend]
2018 marks my third year of giving Spring Wildflower (ephemeral) walks at Bartholomew’s Cobble, a National Natural Landmark and a Trustees of Reservations property. The Wildflower Festival runs from April 21 until May 13th with tours every Saturday and Sunday at 10am, 12pm, 2pm, & 3pm.
Please join me for my walks on Saturday April 21 at 12pm, Sunday April 22 at 10am or Sunday May 13 at 3pm.
Rambling on the Ledges Trail in search of blooming of wildflowers is one of my favorite spring traditions. Let me know if you want to meet at Bartholomew’s Cobble for a walk.
